Favorite Users

What Do You Mean, "Favorites"?

Let's face it--nobody wants to look at pictures of complete strangers. Well, maybe sometimes. But you mostly want to see pictures of people you know.

Now you can create a list of Favorite users whose pictures you most often browse. You can do many things with your list of Favorites, such as request to be notified when one of your Favorite users adds photos to their albums, or search through pictures of only those users in your list. Think of it as your circle of friends.

Current Features of Favorites

Once you add users to your list, you will have access to a Favorites page that shows you when your Favorite users last added pictures to their albums, how many photos they have, and more! It's an easy way to see who's been uploading.

You can ask to be notified by email when your favorite users upload pictures, or when anyone comments on pictures that belong to your favorite users. Go to your email preferences to set these options.

And you can browse and search just those pictures belonging to your favorite users.

Adding to Favorites

To add users to your Favorites, simply go to the Browse Users page and locate the user. Then just click on [Add] next to their username. You can also browse other users' Favorites to easily add friends of friends to your own list (subject to privacy settings--see below). Note that you must be registered in order to create a Favorites list.

Removing Your Favorites

Should one of your Favorites fall from your grace, you will probably find yourself looking for a way to remove them. Just go to Browse Users and click [Remove] next to the user you want to remove. Alternatively, go to your Favorites page and click [Remove] there.

Privacy of Your List

By default, your list of Favorites is viewable by all users in your list. You can change the privacy of your list so that nobody (or everybody) can view it by going to your profile page.
