Madison Industries exits Madison Fire & Rescue, a leading provider of rescue technology and fire suppression solutions with a portfolio of brands including Holmatro, Amkus, Task Force Tips, Fire Fighting Systems, and Waterax. Madison Fire & Rescue was acquired by 3M in partnership with Bain Capital.

Madison Fire & Rescue will combine with 3M’s Scott Safety business, a leading provider of self-contained breathing apparatus and safety solutions, to create a leading fire and safety company. The combination will bring together complementary product portfolios, expand the Company’s market reach, and create greater scale to better serve firefighters, first responders, and industrial workers. 3M will own 50.1% of the new company, with Bain Capital owning 49.9%.
